Essential Rose is a small e-commerce business with a big mission- to reshape the concept of beauty. Founder, Jennifer Rose Goldman teaches that beauty is not just how you look, but rather more about how you feel and live your life.

While the business has a small, but devoted group of customers, emails were being sent infrequently and not performing to industry standards. We set a goal to increase deliverability, open rates and click through rates with weekly newsletter campaigns, sequences, and monetization campaigns.

Increased Open Rate & Optimized for Clicks

By simplifying the layout of the design, making the call to action more visible, and decreasing distracting buttons, click-through-rate increased from .5% to .7%. While the business still has an important goal to increase CTR, insights were made on how to re-engage a sleepy audience. Open rate nearly doubled with the use of a catchy subject line.

By writing an intriguing subject line and engaging copy, the open rate of this email increased 2X compared to previous newsletter emails of this type. We began adding a personal signature with photo as part of a strategy to increase engagement with recipients.
